NOTES ON TRIP DATES:

(1) Extra nights before and after the standard itinerary:
Many people like an extra day and night at the start point city, allowing them to get over jet lag, etc. Extra nights after completing the standard trip itinerary allow you to explore the city or area more fully. For planning purposes, these should be considered as the “Trip Start Date or End Date”.

(2) Why we ask for earliest and latest possible start & end dates:
After you’ve decided on an itinerary, and taking into account any extra nights at the trip start and/or endpoint, as well as possible rest days, please give us the widest possible "RANGE" or "WINDOW" of possible starting/ending dates. IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE US “FIXED DATES”. This is very important for the Camino de Santiago as securing rooms in our preferred accommodations can be very challenging, especially during the best walking months. On other trips there is usually no problem, but a date range is always helpful.

(3) Why we require payment of a deposit before we confirm dates on self-guided Camino trips:
Contacting various (sometime many, in the case of the Camino) accommodation providers and working out availability for your trip can be complicated and time-consuming. We ask for your commitment by requiring the payment a deposit of 300€ per person BEFORE we begin work on your request. REST ASSURED – we are experts at this and if you give us a broad enough window of dates, we guarantee we can secure availability within your specified date range. If not, we will refund your payment in full, minus a small service fee.

PAYMENT FOR YOUR TRIP

DEPOSIT
In order for us to confirm your reservation, we require the payment of a deposit of 300€ per person. In the case of Camino de Santiago trips ONLY, we require the payment of this deposit before we begin work on confirmation of your itinerary dates. (3)

PAYMENT OF THE TRIP BALANCE
The balance of your tour payment is due 60 days prior to the departure date.

FULL PAYMENT FOR A LATE BOOKING
If you are booking your trip less than 60 days prior to the departure date, we require the payment in full of the total trip price.

WHICH PAYMENT APPLIES TO YOU?
 I will pay a 300 euro Deposit for each traveler listed in “Your Information” above. I will pay the remaining balance by 60 days prior to departure. I will pay the remaining balance due for my trip. I will make a Full 1-Time Payment for my trip (REQUIRED if booking less than 60 days prior to the departure date). I have already completed required payment.
